COVID-19

As you are all aware, regulations and operations have been drastically impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. As a firm, we have been keeping up with all the governing regulations, and we are closely monitoring the situation. Effective March 20, 2020, our office will be closed to ensure compliance with Governor Newsom’s recent mandate. Attorneys Beringer and Molea will continue to work on your matters from home, and you will have access to them through email and scheduled telephone calls. If you are interested in retaining our services, please email us at samin@beringerlaw.com to set up a free 30 minute consultation by phone.

We are also working closely with the San Diego County Bar Association and North County Family Law Specialist Group to make available other options, such as videoconferences for settlement meetings and Mandatory Settlement Conferences. Your attorney will discuss these options with you if applicable to your matter.

As of right now, we are informed that the Superior Court of California, San Diego (and other counties) will remain closed until April 6, 2020. This may change based upon the fluidity of the situation. If you had a hearing scheduled during this time, it will be rescheduled by the Court to a future date. We expect to receive notices in the mail with the new hearing date. If pleadings or documents are due during this time, you will be provided with additional time to accommodate the court and office closures.

The safety and well-being of our clients, staff and community is of the utmost importance to us. However, please be assured we will make every effort possible to provide uninterrupted services to you. Thank you for your patience and understanding during these challenging times!
